March 20, 2024 — Lissa Friedman, PhD

In her late 30s, Lissa became deeply involved with the Arica School, a mystery school founded by Oscar Ichazo. This decade of profound learning and psycho-spiritual evolution introduced her to the Enneagram, a tool that has since become central to her psychotherapy private practice. Over the years, her passion for the Enneagram has only grown, leading her to teach its wisdom for over 30 years.

Her love for this path culminated in the founding of an Accredited International Enneagram School and the Enneagram Embodiment Tradition, a collaborative effort with her daughter, Tammy Hendrix, LCSW. Together, we wove the Enneagram's wisdom with the practices of embodiment and psychotherapy traditions to offer a holistic approach to healing and self-discovery.

While Lissa has retired from teaching the Enneagram, she continues to invite individuals to explore the essence of their being through her private practice. Meanwhile, it warms her heart to see Tammy evolve her work and continue to foster this journey towards wholeness and freedom.
